10.00 -13.00 Morning Session: Prof. Mary Robinson, first woman President of Ireland, former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and a member of The Elders, in conversation with Elaine McGee, BBC.
Mid-morning Coffee Break
Panel discussions on topics such as cross border engagement, cultural identity, and generational shifts in how women view their role in society.
[Note:UWE and IrFUW delegates will be joined by an invited list of prominent, high achieving women in public and academic life in Northern Ireland]

14.00 – 16.00: Afternoon Session
Depart Queen’s University by coach for “Conference in Context” visit to Belfast key sites, narrated by Mark Devenport, journalist, broadcaster and commentator. History, politics, peace, art, architecture – the role of women at the centre of society.
16.00: Return to hotels to prepare for the evening
Saturday evening: Gala Dinner at Titanic Belfast
Gala Centenary Dinner.
