We are pleased to invite you to the next Annual General Meeting of the University Women of Europe in Rome which will be combined, as usual, with a two day conference. This year, our Conference theme is “Women in Stem professions, Challenges – Support – Education“.

We aim to focus on how to create opportunities and support systems for women in STEM professions.
What challenges do they face? How can we combine the technological innovations with empowerment of women and girls?
These innovations demand different skills and give different opportunities on the employment market. Women still seem to choose humanistic studies.

How do we improve the working conditions in STEM professions, so more women will chose STEM studies and professions? How do we create equal opportunities for women and girls in a world that changes so rapidly?

We are looking forward to meeting you, those questions and more you will be able to discuss in Rome, exchanging ideas and continuing to be engaged in the work towards an improvement of women’s lives in Europe and all over the world. As a special event we will present the material on the Pay Gap in several countries on Saturday morning 23^rd of June.

The Conference is open to all members of the University Women of Europe and their friends.
